Company Description:

Analyst Position:
This is an entry-level position for candidates with research experience who have a bachelor's or master's degree in economics, finance, statistics, or related subjects. For this position you should have strong quantitative, analytic, and organization skills in addition to a desire to work in a pragmatic, research-oriented environment, with opportunities to interact with academic affiliates and clients. Analysts often move on to top graduate programs for an MBA or Ph.D. after a two- or three-year tenure with Analysis Group; some return to the firm as Associates. Analysts can expect to work on multiple cases at a time. Responsibilities and work experiences may include:

  • Conducting market and company research using on-line resources and library searches
  • Collecting, constructing, and summarizing data for case-specific needs
  • Conducting independent and directed data analysis, including econometric estimation of models and formulating and implementing financial models
  • Participating in meetings with academic experts and case team members
  • Assisting in preparation of reports for deposition and trial
  • Developing computer programs using software such as SAS, STATA, and others
