Opportunity Awards

In addition to the well-known Boettcher Scholarship Program, the Foundation provides financial assistance for under-represented students at Colorado colleges and universities with the Boettcher Opportunity Awards.

Each participating school is awarded $15,000 to be distributed to five qualified students from under-represented groups of the school’s choosing. The scholarships are administered and awarded directly by the institutions.

The program now provides scholarship money to sixteen institutions all across Colorado:

• Johnson & Wales University
• Colorado Mesa University
• Metropolitan State College of Denver
• Regis University

• University of Northern Colorado
• Western State College
